BMW M3-GTR
2002
Description
The 2002 M3-GTR is the road variant of the M3 GTR race car that was built to satisfy homologation rules by the FIA. Unlike its standard production variant, the M3-GTR came equipped with racing modifications from its competition variant such as a four liter V8 engine and carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) body parts.
A total of six units were produced, with three units having been used as development test mules, and the other three having survived as part of BMW Group Classic's collection.
