Nissan GT-R LM Nismo
1995
Description
The LM Nismo is a homologation special developed by Nissan's performance division Nismo. A single model based on the R33 Skyline GT-R was built in order to homologate its racing variant for the FIA's GT1 class.
In comparison with the Skyline GT-R, the LM Nismo has a factory widebody kit and a tuned version of the RB26DETT twin-turbo engine that produces 300 hp (224 kW) and redlines close to 10,000 rpm. As dictated by the GT1 racing class, it has a rear-wheel drive in place of the GT-R's all-wheel drive system.
